The experience that later informed TUDUMU began in 2016 with a community savings group. Members contributed regularly, supported one another, and learned the importance of disciplined repayment.
TUDUMU Financial Services Limited was incorporated on 22 November 2023. It is currently listed by the Bank of Tanzania as a licensed non-deposit-taking Tier 2 microfinance service provider.
